Two weeks remaining!

I have organised the Society of General Physiologists (SGP) annual conference this year. The theme is "New optical methods in cell physiology." I asked several folk to help me co-organise, but no one wanted to do the fund raising required, so I got to invite who ever I wanted! The speaker list is a veritable who's who of optical neuroscientists and physiologists. [Only 2 dropped out after agreeing to participate, and only 2 actually turned down invitations.] I think it will be a great meeting! I am completely unbiased of course.

The deadline for both abstracts and registration is now 15 August.

The conference starts on 8 September with a keynote address by Roger Tsien at 7 PM, and ends with a keynote in the evening of the 11th by Karel Svoboda, followed by the traditional lobster banquet!
