Howard Hodgkin

I saw this painting last week at Sotheby's and wanted it.
Then I looked at the price and thought "Wow, that's expensive!"
It sold for almost twice its upper estimate.
Sadly the artist passed away a few days later.

PS. Yes, he was part of the great family of British intellectuals, politicians and leaders.
